Code of Conduct

AmanheSer is a wonderful place to relax, heal and connect with yourself. The purpose of our Code of Conduct is for the benefit of all participants in the AmanheSer Retreat community and all those involved in the work of the retreat centre.
We are all here to help each other learn, heal and live in new and meaningful ways and have a good time.

Be respectful to other members of the community, to the animals and to nature.

Treating people and animals with respect is invaluable to our interpersonal relationships. When you treat each other with respect and appreciation, you create an atmosphere of trust and understanding. You feel heard and understood, and this strengthens your bonds with each other.

Help us to maintain cleanliness in public and private spaces at all times.
Do not throw any rubbish, no matter how small, into the countryside. Dispose of it in the bins provided for this purpose.

Leave the grounds and buildings in the good condition in which you find them and report any damage that may occur while you are on the property.

To avoid disturbing others, please use headphones to listen to music.

Please help us to create a clean, peaceful and uplifting atmosphere.

Be water and electricity conscoius

Pay attention to the use of light and water. The Retreat Centre is powered exclusively by solar energy. This means that especially on days with less sun, the charging of the batteries is slower than on a fully sunny day. The water is heated by a gas-fuelled heater. so, Switch off lights and electronic devices when you are not using them. Use less hot water if possible. Anything that generates heat, such as a hairdryer, consumes a lot of electricity. Please clarify with the organisers which appliances you can and cannot use so that the power system is not unnecessarily overloaded. Sometimes it is enough to define the times of use so that not too many devices are running at the same time. Please contact the host.

Your body is the temple of your soul

Please ensure that you don’t consume any intoxicants during your stay on or off the premises. Anyone who uses, sells or distributes illegal drugs or consumes alcohol during a retreat or public event will lose the privilege of being an overnight guest, transient participant or host of events at the AmanheSer Retreat Centre. The organisers of AmanheSer events may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or ejection from the event and property.
